Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place to raise a request but I was hoping Folksy could add another sub-category under the jewellery menu. I have made a number of matching gift sets containing more than one item i.e. earrings and a pendant. Sometimes a bracelet too.
As it currently stands when I add them to Folksy I list them under pendant/necklaces and then add my own shop collection, but if a customer is browsing Folksy home page (rather than navigating an individual shop) would it be a fair option to have a ‘gift set’ option in the jewellery menu? Apologies if this has been asked before.

Rather than ‘gift set’ I think ‘jewellery sets’ should be added to the main jewellery categories (pretty please Camilla @folksycontent ). Some people might be buying the jewellery for themselves rather than as a gift.
However when I was attempting to sell sets I always found I had more luck with selling the individual pieces so maybe list eg the pendant in the appropriate pendant section and then add the matching earrings as a variation, you can also list the earrings in the earring section with the pendant as an add on via variations. (If its something you can’t remake you have to remember to remove the variation from the earrings if you sell just the pendant first)

Thank you. I will take your advice on board regarding breaking sets up. I am still learning as I go with the sales side. ‘Jewellery Sets’ sounds good to me. It would be useful to list them somewhere as a set.
