Art Chat April 2015

Has his uses then yum yum…although very frustrating if he won’t leave you alone.

Thanks Stephie and Oh yes he has his workshop / shed its not finished yet - in fact I might look out for things for him tomorrow. As far as The Gallery goes I think I might need a coffee cup and cupcake - the curator needs a lunch break too lol.

Your picture is lovely Eleanor. I think a boat would be good. A lot of my river pictures have a boat in. Helps draw the eye and can distract from a large expanse of water.

This is one of my new pieces - Sweetpea

I do like Belgian chocolate - enjoy Margaret

Lovely painting Eleanor…I would also just suggest something in the foreground…a bush, some grass…whatever you feel you would like.
Hazel lovely flowers.
Margaret…enjoy the chocolates…(men have their uses…!!)
Just listed this wine drinking lady cartoon card…
.

Hello again, took on board quite a bit of advice from you all and came up with this as the finished piece. It’s not my best ever painting, but it will cheer up my Grandad so I am happy

Lovely work Brenda, I am a lady who loves wine hehe  Am going to get back to painting things to sell now, though am not sure what…maybe some baby animals for spring?

Lovely work Eleanor, your Grandad will be thrilled.

Haha that’s fun Brenda, love the bling especially the belly button piercing. You have a fab sense of humour, we’re lucky to have you here

Pretty flowers Hazel.

I spent the afternoon in Costa (son had an eye test and I had to pick up some reading glasses so we combined it with a break from the decorating). I tried out my new paints and am so pleased with them - I’ll take some pics and be back…

And I’m back  painted with just 3 W&N professional watercolours…Pthalo Turquoise, Transparent Orange and Pyrelene Violet

evening all, loving the work today dug out my watercolours for a painting day tomorrow  :art:

Love the park scene Eleanor and I’m sure your Grandad will be thrilled

Oh those wellies are far too cute!

Hazel…don’t laugh…I am never sure when you show pics like this, if they are life size or doll’s house items…lol…
If they are for doll’s houses, then Adrian should certainly be selling them…
Stephie…my humour is commonly known as “warped”…I won’t show the rude ones
Great Cow…I don’t remember posing…
Eleanor…that is great…the grass at the front really finishes it off.and the tree gives it more depth. Painting is so rewarding and it is good that you have joined us…we love having new people…
Waving Max…
Happy Easter to you all…

They are miniatures Brenda the shed is only about 8 inches wide  the wellies abd the pots etc are so cute - we bought them but he built the shed from a kit and the bench etc from scratch. It’s great fun.

My new listing for today. Hope you like it
Pam xxxx

Good morning all. I’m up early getting ready to go to the dolls house fair today

Your flowers are lovely Pam hope it sells soon for you and Stephie your cow is wonderful I love way the colours work. We have a local artist, I have seen at exhibitions who paints a lot of cows and chickens in dramatic colours and they are very contemporary and I like the style.

Hope you all have a good day

Hazel

The shed is too cute Hazel, best wishes for the fair today hope you sell loads

I have got my watercolours out now to decide what to paint! not feeling very inspired today

Great work Stephie

Thanks Brenda  I’m sure I could have done something similar with the W&N desert collection that I won last year but my perverse nature will not be told what to do - no way was I going to paint a desert with the desert collection lol.

Fab work everyone, love the new colours you have Stephie.

I seem to be busy all the time at the moment. The garden shed coming down has opened up lots of possibilities in the garden and I’m spending a lot more time out there and a lot less time online. I really should be doing some housework today too (yuk) better get on with it…
