I am going to be listing this 6x4 tree and a similar piece here soon, itās similar to a commission I did recently.
I was going to do the listing now but will do it later now but hubby is setting up his studio and we are going to be having a photo session. He is a very keen photographer and his mum has asked us for a photo of us together as she hasnāt got one that isnāt from our wedding 9 years ago. So today we are going to be taking pictures of us and some of my art as while he has got all the gear set up I thought it would be good to get a few pictures of my larger ones done too.

Afternoon everyone, phew busy day, housework, washing ironing and gardening! lovely landscapes Brenda. Gorgeous tree Hazel, Just listed the first of the coasters, very difficult to phorograph glossy paper and shiny acrylic casement, the colours are more vibrant in real life!

Max Iām very tempted by those coasters, but Iāve overspent on plants today at the Dorothy Clive Plant Fair, and Iāve spent nearly Ā£80 on a new bench for my new patio area, so Iām a bit skint!

I agree Margaret, Maxās coasters are stunning.
What beautiful weather we have had todayā¦I am still warm and no heating on todayā¦I hope it is warm on Thursday and Friday because that is when we get our new boiler and the heating will be turned off for two days.
Thankfully, Kelly was able to sort out her collections all by herselfā¦no need for help from mumā¦lol

Good morning, thank you Margaret, they sold last night, though I can always make more 
I hope the others I made go just as quickly lol! Iām dreading the garden centre visit and we have a very expensive month too with the fence at Ā£600, plus we are away in London for the weekend soon, Iām hoping to take a lot of cuttings and then just buy a few larger plants but probably have to wait until next month for that.

congrats on the quick coaster sale Max, didnāt think theyād hang around long. One of the reasons I bought those plants yesterday was to plant as an informal hedge instead of replacing the fencing. Itāll take a couple of years to fill out but itās cheaper than getting new fences!
Gorgeous poppies Hazel, they look a bit different to your usual ones and the leaves are beautifully delicate.

Thank you Margaret and Brenda. They are bit of an evolved style of my poppies now I paint in miniature more, my larger pieces are more detailed too 
I have done a couple in this style now and they seem popular, I did a large A3 one similar recently and it was on display at an event - not really for sale but I was asked if I would sell it ā¦ So I did
