Hello Art peeps - just popping in to see how you all are? I hope you have eaten far too much chocolate and had a relaxing Easter break. I have finished my current commissions and have a bit of time before I need to start on the next one … what to paint though? I should do something for the local flower shop that displays my work. What have you found are the most popular flower subjects?
Hi Gaynor, I was wondering how you were doing I find the hardest part of painting is deciding what to paint next. Poppies are always popular, and roses too of course.
Two of my favourites to paint that’s for sure Margaret and lavender and tulips … The list goes on and on …
All the best with your flowers Gaynor, waving Max and Brenda. It is quiet in here isn’t it. I’ve been painting miniatures early today and just back from the hairdressers now.
afternoon everyone, managed to slope off early, but spent a very long day at the computer so not stopping here long, just to say lovely work today and wave a special hi to Kelly
it is lovely here too…which is just as well as the front door is wide open for the day while the gas board fit a new boiler…no heating and no hot water today ! So no reason why I chose to list a cold snowy scene…??
.
Morning! Dropping in to say hi and admire all the lovely work.
Hope the boiler fitting goes well Brenda. Waves to Kelly.
Margaret and Max are you keeping photo diaries of your gardens?
Matt I have a hankering to paint butterflies too, yours is lovely.
Max your prints in coasters are STUNNING!
I’m having a busy week decorating and visiting relatives, the only painting I have done (apart from the living room) is a pet portrait and a quick sepia sketch. Hopefully normality will return at some point next week as I need to get on with the next miniature mag article.
boiler fitting going ok, though nearly had a fit when the engineer wanted to turn the electrics off when I was in the middle of listing…aaargh…
Anyway , back on again now and adding to the butterflies today…my second listing…
.
The new boiler is IN…and I am boiling…we had to have the central heating on for the last two hours…aaargh. At least it is finished so he doesn’t have to come back tomorrow.
On a good note, I painted 5 aceos and one greetings card…will take photos tomorrow
