does anyone know if you need an air mail sticker to post to the republic of Ireland?..I have just found out that to post to there is £1 for up to 20g (UK mainland is 63p)…but the royal mail site doesn’t mention airmail stickers.
Posting to N.Ireland goes as normal post and I have never put an airmail sticker on but logically the mail would get flown out there…
Never had to think about this before…
Sorry I don’t know Brenda, I always take mine to the post office as it’s only a 5 min scoot.
Good morning waving hi to everyone, lovely to see you Kelly, well what glorious weather, not that I have had much chance to be out in it, being in work all day but I did manage to get a lovely walk around the park yesterday lunchtime. Glad the boiler is sorted Brenda.
Yes Stephie I will be taking photo’s of work in progress, not starting until after 21st April but I have a design in mind so we’ll see how it goes, probably going to take me a few months to get where I want it to be and years to mature though lol!

Kelly it’s lovely to see some of your work, it’s so different to everyone else’s work and very refreshing. I still love my coasters that I bought from you last year.

great work Stephie…I was just going to say about only 6 days but then I saw the 7th hidden under the seagull wings…
no painting today…hopefully tomorrow.
Still haven’t decided my next subject yet - although am very inspired by all the gorgeous blooms above! My first pet portrait commission is in the hands of the recipient so I’ve been able to start posting work in progress on FB (here if you’re curious https://www.facebook.com/BeeGardenArt). Thank you Stephie for your advice on fur painting - you know me, I find it really difficult to loosen my style so did end up painting quite a lot of individual hairs. Although I think I got better as I progressed. It’s all good learning for me though.

You’re welcome Gaynor, I honestly don’t remember what I said but I’m glad it helped As I mentioned on fb, I think your next subject should be those flowers in your banner pic, it’s a very striking composition.
You advised me not to try to paint each individual hair! And very good advice it was too.
I might try some of my wedding flowers at some point - I’m not sure I could do them justice though, they were so beautiful.

Morning all. I’m off out for the day to my brother and size in law’s house in Marple. It’s an hour’s drive which is a long way for Mum and Dad. Hopefully we’ll go into Marple itself. Last time I got some great frames from the second hand shops there
