Is anyone watching Springwatch this week? The piece about the tawny owl nest on the River Weaver in Cheshire is about a place less than a mile from where I live and which I know well. Very interesting to see pics of our local river on the telly!
Hi Margaret! Yes we’ve been watching Springwatch too. Compulsive viewing in our house. Sad to see one of the owl chicks didn’t make it. Such a beautiful location to live near to!

Beautiful scenery up the valleys, so much inspiration for painting…lakes, waterfalls, mountains…lovely.
Had lunch at the Angel Inn which at the entrance to beautiful wooded walks and lovely falls…the food was good too !

It was lovely sitting outside the Angel Inn, close to fast running water and beautiful woodland yesterday !
I have a larger acrylic painting to show this morning…a 10" x 12" woodland scene. I love woodland and love sitting in the shade of trees on a hot day…especially near to waterfalls.

I’ve been very busy, now finished my commissions and had lots of sales which is great, lots of new projects planned too although having a nasty cold had been frustrating !!! I’m still not selling much on folksy and I can’t find where it says when my plus account expires - any idea where that is in my account settings anyone?

…I went to the post office to get some airmail stickers and was told that we no longer need them !! I asked if we need to write AIR MAIL on the envelope and she said that as far as she knew, it was no longer necessary as all mail went airmail these days!
