 works for me too. @PamelaWestArt is it showing in the preview? (on the right)

I’M trying now on my laptop https://folksy.com/items/6631784-Snow-Time-Original-Acrylic-painting-by-Pamela-J-West no pic appears on the right

Right I am opening the box that I need to type in on the forum. Then I go to my shop and click on the item to open it. I then put the url of the item in this box. Is that right?
Pam xxxx

How puzzling Pam! do you have spaces before and after pasting the url?

I get the pic before I come here…and I always make sure I am on a new line before pasting the link.
.
like this…I never just add the URL on the same line as I am typing…do you think that is it?

This is your pic…

…and this is a screen print of how it looks when I’ve pasted the url in the reply box, you can see what you’re writing in the preview box on the right

Good morning, thank you Brenda, yes the plate will be washable, but it wouldn’t stand up to everyday use, I do seal them but they are not ā€˜fired’ yesterday I found an old tile for recycling and I had scrape the ink off with a razor blade as even the alcohol ink wouldn’t budge it so once sealed it’s fairly hardy but I think a knife and fork would definitely cause damage so display only :).

Pam I occasionally use an i-pad and it’s a bit hit or miss sometimes I get the pic other times not! just make sure you leave a space after your text, I press return twice leaving a whole blank line before you paste the url and another one after not foolproof sometimes it works sometimes not on the i-pad but usually every time on the laptop.

Have a lovely day everyone

I agree Max, I always leave a couple of blank lines after typing, before I put the url for the picture. I am sure Pam will try again today.
Morning to everyone…the sun is trying to come out this morning but the forecast is for a colder week this week.-not that I am complaining as it has been a lovely few days.
I need to do some more promoting on the daily listing group…I still have over 150 to catch up with…
Be back later

Morning all, I’m just off to waitrose for a coffee and to post my sales from yesterday … so nice to be selling again on Folksy

Beautiful work Hazel! I’m hoping to get some painting in this afternoon…it’s been too long (all of 2 days, although I didn’t do much at all last week) and I’m suffering withdrawal.

Happy Sun :sunny: day everyone

I get withdrawal too if I don’t paint or sketch. Fortunately this week I’ve had lots of studio time so having a day off today. Although I have been up early listing some pieces and have more to do

Coffee was good but no cake today Brenda. But did get some nice fresh bread and some cold meats so a nice lazy lunch for me and hubby today.

Hi Pam , I don’t know if you have already solved this. But i was having the same problem. The trick is not to paste url with a sentence. Just copy URL from item page into comment box. Make sure it is at beginning of new line without any leading spaces or else the link won’t work.

I got to know all thanks to @Rozcraftz

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone. haven’t listed anything new yet but have started working on a new painting.will share once its done.

Great work all of you xxx

Glad you are staying with us Parmeet…and hope you can list something soon…if not, we are happy to chat with you.
Pam told me that she will come back and try to show her pics later…I think we are all agreed that a separate line is the answer.

Well it seems to work if I just paste the link for the picture so I will do that separately in a minute. Thank you so much for all your help and advice. Its nice to meet you all. I have been busy stocking my shop again this after noon. I love looking at all of your work too.

Glad you got it to work Pam. Your art is wonderful and your shop is looking great

Fab work Pam! Love your shop, your work is beautiful. Are you in the white gouache or the reserve your whites camp?

This is what I painted today, it’s mixed media (watercolour and iridescent oil pastel)

I need to take some oblique angle photos to show off the oil pastels
