Afternoon gang 
I’m playing with string today…anyone else made a start on the challenge?

Just a quick pop in so I’ll just wave to all. Hope you are all having a good bank holiday. We had visitors this morning and now I’ve been painting 
afternoon everyone, lovely work today, hope you are all enjoying the long weekend, I’ve not thought about the string yet! maybe go and sit down now

Good morning, ah back to work today. No art today but I have made some coasters and bookmarks with my birds ready to list later on in the week, I made some mini butterfly wire sculptures as well this week, just listed this one

Max, that is just stunning…the tiny beads look like tiny light bulbs and make me think that they would light up ! (now There’s an idea…)
I had a nice lie in this morning and am now waiting for Tesco to come. Then I can start some painting.

We had a busy weekend with visitors and gardening but we did go to the seafront too and the kite’rs were out in force in the water and on land… They are big kites but there were some children playing with small ones too - kites have lots of string so it inspired me for our little string challenge … So this is my offering … 6 x 4 inches and a mini one for fun too

Matt, that is lovely…I have no intention of listing or selling the snowman…I am just making the models to stop me getting bored. I paint during the day but it is too dark in the evenings and I need something different to keep me busy…sometimes I have half an hour to kill and that is not enough time to start painting, so doing something like origami fills a few spare minutes . (I hate sitting doing nothing.)
Yesterday I made a swan. My intention is to give them away to local charities for their fund raising.
Stephanie…the kettle is on…Kelly is going to stay with some ex neighbours. this is the second time she has been to stay with them…I am sure she will tell you more about it when she gets back and will possibly share a photo or two here .
Yesterday I painted a 7x5" watercolour which I put in an ivory mount…

That’ll be fun Kelly! I’ve never been to NY…one day I’ll get there.
Brenda your lovely landscape looks amazing in that mount. I often think a mount adds much more to a piece than it should, given that it’s just a piece of card lol.
