I have just done another painting that will go in a mount.
The only problem with them is that they are much heavier to post…but I agree the mount adds a lot to them…and I have 50 mounts, so I had better get painting…lol

I’m still not able to see Folksy forums at work for some reason, so can’t call in too often these days.
I’ve something to show you, I mentioned ages ago that Mum bought me an original landscape at an exhibition for my birthday. She bought it in February and it was kept under wraps till early May. It’s now hung on my wall over my computer and looks fab:) The flash spoils it slightly but you get the idea.

Hope I haven’t missed anyone…I’m on my phone where the forum is tricky to see and type at the same time!
I’m not entirely sure, it’s either oil or acrylic and it’s one of those that’s painted round the edges so doesn’t need framing. There’s quite a bit of texture to it. The artist is V Tomey from a fairly local art group, I fell in love with it on sight.

Fab work everyone, sorry didn’t get chance to come back yesterday, helping our son who has just been offered a rather exciting opportunity with work, he is off on a car rally for Help the Hero’s driving a landrover across Europe, such a fantastic opportunity and is going in a few weeks so had to sort insurances, health card etc.
I love the colour of those Poppies Hazel, just yummy

Waving everyone, I’m back from a not-quite-week in North Wales. Did you miss me? Haha 
it was lucky we had wifi as my mobile phone didn’t work for the entire time we were there.
I’m very impressed with how strong the Welsh language is on the Llyn Peninsula, the whole community is conducted in Welsh. The locals are very friendly though, and will often switch to English so that you don’t feel left out…not like in the 1980’s in the Rhyl area when it was very different story.
My shop is open again, and I have a blog post to write all about my postcards home - they were such fun to paint
Super work from everyone, I especially like Kelly’s white roses on that gorgeous colourful background.
