Morning everyone…great work…looks like a better day today…sun is shining…
My first listing today…
.
Hi all.
Wow. Such fabulous work from everyone
Here is my listing for today…
It’s a lovely day here, the sun is shining and it’s even warm enough to peel a layer…although I am still wearing 3 layers so not too much to get excited about hehe
Max that’s another stunner! Fab work Hazel, Brenda and Kelly.
I’ve had a really good day, my cheque for the last miniature mag article has arrived and I’ve restocked the local shops with 38 cards Very happy bunny today!
Lovely painting Kelly…waving Stephie.
We have just been shopping in Swansea and “The Works” are now selling my favourite “Royal Langton” paint brushes for just £1.99 each or TWO for £3…couldn’t resist as I love these brushes…
I bought two Filberts as they are good for flower petals…watch this space.
That sounds like a good deal. Why do you particularly like those ones?
Just listed this
Hi Stephie…for starters they are plastic handles…the wooden ones deteriorate quickly, the wood splits and the paint comes off the handles…these ones are shaped and easy grip and I love the fibres on the brush itself. I first saw them on Create and Craft, used by Sheena Douglas…so I bought a set of flat ones…then I had a set of angle ones for a Christmas present and now I have some filberts as well. The life span of them is so much longer than any wooden handled ones and they are the first ones I reach for given the choice. I even have some SAA round brushes but now the paint and varnish is flaking off the wood…that won’t happen with the Royal Langton ones. Definitely the best and the bristles are really soft and pliable.
afternoon everyone, lovely work today.
That’s fab Stephie, I like Royal Langton too have quite a few of them, though Daler Rowney are a close second
I have Daler Rowney ones too the big yellow ones…they will last longer as well. My only issue seems to be with wooden handled ones, which are all good brushes but the wood degenerates quite quickly…especially with watercolours as they are dipped in water a lot.
we need to redress the missing purple, so here is my second listing today
.

Hi all, I’m back from my short break to Herefordshire. I had access to the internet when I was at the B&B and only had my tablet with me which isn’t easy to type with so I’ve not been around most of the time.
Fab birds Max
