Weeks go by with no sales, but I’m paying every month for keeping the shop open leaving me out of pocket. Is there a way of suspending your account without fully closing your shop and re-open later in the year when there’s a better chance of sales? Thanks Margaret

You can cancel your ‘plus’ account and just pay when you list something or sell something. Before cancelling, re list everything and then cancel…the listings will stay active for 4 months.
You can also put your shop into holiday mode, but you would still pay the monthly plus fee unless you cancel it. No one can buy from your shop when in Holiday mode.

As @KBCreations says, you just need to cancel your Plus subscription to stop the monthly payments, there’s no need to completely close your shop/account.
To do that, go to dashboard > Plus account > info > click the link to cancel. Make sure you do it more than 3 working days before your next charge date (which is also listed on that page), because if you do it within that 3 working day period it can cause issues. Your Plus features will remain working for the time you’ve already paid for so there’s no need to wait until just before to cancel.
