Can't find a category which fits my craftt

My name is Barry Windsor. I have just opened a shop and have already come up against a problem. I wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction for listing?
I do woodturning, but there does not appear to be a category for that or at least I can’t find it!
My first listing has gone into bedroom/bathroom because it is a tealight holder but would much rather have it in a dedicated category.
Many thanks for your help.

Hello Barry, congratulations on opening your shop! Could your tealight holder fit in homeware - home decorations - candle holders ? There are other wooden tealight and candle holders in that category. Good luck with your shop!

You are not the first person who has pointed out that there is no woodturning section. You can suggest adding a category using this form that I found on the folksy uservoice

Hiya,I have put it in Bedroom/Bathroom.My other listings have gone in office.

Will try a suggestion. Thanks.Bit of a job when you are new trying to avoid dropping a Boo Boo!

I’m not sure what the actual proportions are but I think more shoppers would use the search function to find items rather than browsing the categories. To rank highly in search results you need to add tags to your listings as that is what the algorithm uses - it looks for repeation of the search term between the tags, title and description. For your tealight holder you might want to consider including both tealight holder and tea light holder as tags.

Hello again,I tried that but it kept coming up in red with a x next to it and wouldn’t let me continue till it was cleared.
If you know how to get round that do please explain. Many thanks for taking an interest.Barry.
