Cello bag alternative

Has anybody found a cell bag alternative? It needs to be see through and recyclable. I was thinking of making envelopes from baking parchment.

Most baking parchments aren’t recyclable or compostable as its silicone impregnated to make it non stick (there are a few compostable versions appearing on the market though). I think Tina of @DaisyWings found a biodegradeable cello bag equivalent and she might be prepared to share her thoughts on them.

Yes, Sasha right @SashaGarrett I use biodegradable clear bags, made from cornstarch from Eco Craft although they are presently out of stock at the moment and catching up as they’ve just moved but this is the link https://www.eco-craft.co.uk/

I can second support for Eco Craft! Their cornstarch bags are exactly the same as the plastic ones, except they crackle more (fun). They’re pricier than the plastic versions, of course, especially if you add a little sticker saying ‘this is biodegradable’, but I think my customers appreciate the effort as I get a lot of compliments around the quality of the packaging.

Hi, I also use eco-craft- they are only a couple of miles away from me. The price differential is not massive, just build it into your retail price. If you happen to need any sizes right now that are out of stock feel free to message me as I have quite a lot stored, mainly square ones though!

Thanks for info.
I was in a charity shop today, they sell their own birthday cards. I noticed they no longer come with cello bags!
