I just checked my GA visitors to my shop. Thursday 19, Friday 26, Today with the market on 6 …hmmmmm

Yes agreed, there are so many lovely things that it would be great to have a filter or ability to refine. One to add in for the next one, especially when so many people are taking part.
Also just to say a huge thank you to everyone taking part for all your support and sharing. It’s got loads of views and engagement so far, so we’re really pleased. Thank you!!!

Brilliant, thank you. My shop stats are up today, I’m seeing Craftmas posts all over the place on my social media and have had a sale too, so the event is definitely getting some traction! Here’s hoping tomorrow will be good too

How do you get GA to show you ‘today so far…’ figures? I see up to yesterday, and if I extend the reports period to include today it shows zero.

To be honest I am totally unsure how my Folksy GA is operating since GA4. It is Not showing me the two items I sold first thing this morning and says 3 of the 6 views are overseas… May treat those figures with suspicion now I have looked
again and still showing 6 
PS Update GA was still open at the top of my screen so I clicked and asked it where did my users come from today (it suggested i might like to ask it something ). it now shows 19 visitors. Maybe it was sleeping, USA time, before !
It isnt fully up to date though. It now shows a visit to a suncatcher i sold first thing but not to the two I have sold since (None in the market I should add).

This is my phone display… re my earlier comment about the small beige sign outside the craftmas village hall.
I wonder how many non Folksy sellers spotted it and actually opened the little beige door if they happened to land on the front page ?

What struck me apart from the incredibly dull colours for Christmas, was the folksy logo all in black, like it was in mourning! ha ha - I was expecting it to be in colour with the Santa hat on.!

The Craftmas event does seem to be working for me - viewing figures are up and 2 sales so I think it’s definitely making difference.

Just read somewhere on here the tag ‘craftmas’ needed to be in lower case…wish i had known that yesterday as I only managed to have 2 items listed although it doesn’t explain why one of those disappeared as well. Have changed to lower case now so will see if it picks up 3 items

Well Folksy may still be running their FB and IG ads but no ad at all for this event into which lots of sellers have put so much effort. How very odd.

I only had 2 items showing yesterday and they weren’t the ones I had chosen after a reshuffle, couldn’t get third to show then today noticed someone had mentioned ‘Craftmas’ needed to be all lower case, most of mine were tagged with ‘C’ as a capital, this afternoon, after changing them it worked. Did you have any with capital C ? Could be the same reason mine wouldn’t show.

Mine are there and my tags are lower case. It’s just the inexplicable time interval between me doing the relist before they actually move which puzzles me.
I am sure that traffic to the ‘event’ wil show as high because every single seller with things tagged will be checking to see if their things are there but…I have to wonder what percentage of non sellers are actually visiting.
We have, I’m sure, been to events which have not been widely advertised and stood all day behind our so carefully displayed stall, only to see that the number of sellers at any one point nearly always outnumbers the customers from outside…
I doubt the statistics of visitors for Folksy sellers vs non sellers will be available.

Not sure how that worked but oh well! Tagged my pieces and added the Canva post to some but nothing was shown of my work, such a shame cause that’s the only reason I got folksy plus for this😢 gave folksy a message for help but didn’t get any reply so if any you lovely people know for another time please do let me know! Thank you x
