hi, I’m a new shop, I’ve set up my collection titles but can I heck fathom out how to put my items into the sections (collections), can any kind soul walk me through it please, I’ve tried all day but no luck. thanks Angie

Hi Angie. If you go into your dashboard and click on shopkeeping, a list of all your items will come up and all your collection headings will be under each one. For each item, just click on the collection that you want it to be part of. You can add an item to more than one collection if you want. If you don’t already know, that’s also the place where you can change the order that items appear in your shop by clicking and dragging items up and down the list. Hope I’ve explained it ok. Make sure you’re in the shopkeeping section, not the collections section. It’s the shopkeeping section where you allocate which collections you want each item to appear in. I can’t remember whether there’s an update button to click afterwards or not. I’d check but I’m on my phone rather than the laptop and I don’t find the shopkeeping section very user friendly when I’m on the phone version. Once you’ve allocated collections to your items, they should show up. I hope I’m making sense - I’m not the best at trying to explain.

Glad you’ve sussed it. Just to say that you don’t need to have collections. I see you’ve just set up one for everything. You would normally set up say 1 for cushions, one for quilts so customers can apply a filter on what they want to see.
One hint… I certainly recommend having no more than 6 collections if you can avoid it as it takes up valuable space and pushes your listings down the page. 6 is good as it fills the line and looks nice and neat.|
