I’m new to Folksy and would really appreciate some advice on creating collections on my shop.
I make polymer clay jewellery and want to sperate earrings from necklaces.
How do I do this?
The instructions on the shop keeping page aren’t very clear

Go to your dashboard and click on the “collections” section.
Write in the name you want for your first collection, click the green “create collection” button, and then repeat for any more.
After you’ve done that, go to your shopkeeping page and you should now have the collection titles next to each of your items. Simply click on the title for whichever collection you want the item including in (the selected title/s should turn green) and then you’re done.

Following on from this question about collections, is there a way to change the item that appears in the heading for a particular collection? It seems to default to the first item added to that collection and I can’t see a way of changing it. Thanks.
It goes by the order in your shop, so for each collection the listing nearest the top of the shop will be the heading photo.
You can reorder your shop by going to dashboard > shopkeeping and then dragging the listings around into the order you want.
