I feel really lucky to have found such a nice group of supportive people. This thread is the best.
Joss @XStitcherJoss what a great story and what a guy!
My girl has gone from a mass of curls to sleek and smooth!! Iâm sure it wonât be long before the curls are back.
Good news for the day - I sold 2 scarves in the gallery this morning ⌠promptly went shopping and spent all the profit and more
Putting my shop in holiday mode for a few days now while I hop over to Belfast. Back on Monday. Have a lovely rest of the week and weekend.
Joss @xstitcher thatâs a lovely story. I was never proposed to it was just something that was assumed would be the next step. It worked though weâve been together for 56 years, and married for 54 in December
Liz @PatchworkPackages - hehe, Bob knew you werenât going to let it go! Glad you got the pup you wanted
Brenda @teabreaks - what a story, that made me chuckle! Poor weedy Mr Willard - bet his cheeks were as scarlett as your pants!
Sorry to hear about your cancelled fair Lou @thestitchyroom - are there any more fairs you could get booked into?
Judy @judyrowleyart - so pleased for your Son, keeping everything crossed for him x
Corinna @quaverlyric - are your horses stabled at your home?
Joss @XStitcherJoss - thatâs such a romantic story. Wonder if Francis had been planning to do that as you went around all 10 shops and was getting more and more nervous as each shop didnât have a thimble that fitted?
Congratulations on your first sale Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio - may it be the first of many x
Have a good trip Roz @OrchardFelts x
Hello
Loving all the happy stories, especially Brendaâs. Iâm not very good at stories but the happy moments springing to mind for me all seem to involve family and water⌠canoeing in France with our boys with kingfishers swooping in front of us⌠rockpooling at the coast and snorkelling on holidays. Love the idea of being proposed to with a thimble Joss @XStitcherJoss
Congratulations on your first sale Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio thats brilliant news
Sounds like your boy is doing great T @ButterflyThistleCreativeCrafts
Good luck to your son Judy @judyrowleyart
Sorry to hear about your fair Louise @thestitchyroom - are there any other good ones near you that you could join a cancellation list for maybe?
Sorry itâs another drawstring bag from me today
Oh and keep everything crossed - weâve accepted an offer on our house today so really hoping all goes smoothly
Opps! Sorry!
Keeping everything crossed that the sale goes through Mel @aquilacrafts x
Mel @aquilacrafts it is always a stressful time so keep strong x
Keeping everything crossed for you, Mel @aquilacrafts
all my fingers and toes crossed for your house sale, Mel @aquilacrafts .
Francis assures me that he had no idea he was going to propose with a thimble. It just occurred to him as a spur of the moment reaction to having finally found one that fitted. Saying âifâ had gradually turned into âwhenâ by then already. We met in 1965 and became really good friends, got engaged in '67 and married in '69. My mother insisted it would never last! Fooled you there, Mum!
Continuing the Angel them I have for the week, here is a different Autumnal angelâŚ
We were the same Joss, already j ew each other as had worked together for a few years, started going out inâ77 engaged in â78 and married in â79.
MIL did not like me she thought I was too posh! Would never last as different backgrounds. Said she would not come to the wedding if I insisted in getting married in a Catholic Church., did get married in the church and she came but reluctantly. She mellowed over the years.
Good morning all, another office day today so out early again, but hopefully work from home from lunchtime as I have 3 on line meetings . Fingers crossed for the sale Mel @aquilacrafts and good luck to your son Judy @judyrowleyart
Huge congrats on your first sale Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio
Have a good trip Roz @OrchardFelts and time with your daughter
Hope you can find an alternative fair Lou @thestitchyroom thatâs so frustrating for you.
Good morning everyone,
Gary has come down with some sort of heavy cold the last couple of days so heâs been working from home. We donât usually pass them to each other, so fingers crossed it will not end up like a âsneezing & sniffing symphonyâ!
Here is my listing for today
Morning everyone,
Sorry to hear about your fair Louise @thestitchyroom I hope you can find something to replace it.
Great news Mel, @aquilacrafts fingers crossed for you and your family.
