Hi can anyone help.
This is EB**Y related but nothing to do with selling arts and crafts.
I decided to sell some of my many skirts which are either too tight or too short.
Sold the first quickly as it was a brand new one and noticed that it still was listed in my Selling List.
Sold another on the 10th and posted it and still showing in my Selling List.
Had an email from someone who bought the other a week ago and I must have missed the email . But looking at my Selling list there is nothing to show it is sold, same as the other two.
Any idea anyone how I mark something sold on Ebay so it no longer appears in my selling list like this
So embarassed by it Iāve included a little glass bug in the parcel (and my Joysofglass business card too of course )
Yes in my shop for a buyer but for me as a seller I look at the screen Iāve shown and all 3 of those skirts are sold and one was a month ago.
Just tried on my phone instead and get this
SORTED. Hope this is helpful for anyone else with the same problem: I googled how to change a āgood till cancelledā listing and found
Good 'Til Cancelled (GTC) listings on eBay cannot be deactivated or changed to a different duration, as they are the default format for fixed-price items. To remove them, you must manually end the listing in [Seller Hub](https: //www .ebay.co.uk/help/selling/listings/creating-managing-listings/revising-listing?id=4356) or My eBay before it renews.
Steps to Remove a GTC Listing:
Go to My eBay > Selling > Active.
Locate the item and select End from the āMore actionsā drop-down~
So I did that and my 3 SOLD skirts have now gone from my selling listā¦
Still would not have helped me spot i had missed a sale as you have to realise it is sold in order to think to End it!!
Have now created a rule in my Outlook to filter any sold skirts or other wardrobe overflow items (and not my scrap glass which is already filtered) into a new folder and it will flash lights and sound a siren as it does it.
Hope the buyer understands and doesnt give me a 1 star rating .Itās currently 100% perfect !
Glad you found it Joy, I was going to say you close the listing in your seller page. Itās not easy to find.
A lot of the eB*y stuff is complicated now, I frequently end up googling how to do something I actually did last month, but have forgotten where.
What is so stupid is that i canāt look at my listing list from Sellers and see which have sold and which have not⦠If the one i sold and missed had said sold I would have noticed it when i went in to print the label for the last one !!
Iām OK with my ebay account now but when I came back a couple of months ago everything had changed since the last time I was selling on there and I think they over complicated things. Took me a while to understand the folders, previously I would have gone into the unsold folder and relisted from there but itās now relisting automatically whilst also placing the items in the unsold folder. Iāve started deleting items from unsold once theyāve been relisted as I did find a couple of duplicates when I first used it again.
Hi @JOYSofGLASS, if you set your postage to āsimple deliveryā choosing your preferred courier once the item has sold and you click on it to print the label or save QR code etc it automatically marks that item as despatched and removes it from your items for sale. Iāve found using this makes it easier to keep track, then if you go to your sold items folder it will show a list of all sold items and whether or not they have been delivered. It also covers you for loss of post etc. I sent one yesterday and asked Postman to collect it this morning and I just paid the 30p collection fee as the customer pays delivery and Insurance.
I think my problem was ignoring the Sold word which I saw as just a number and not as a click to get to my sold items. Wonāt happen again now my emails are properly filtered. Thanks for sorting me out.
