Hello folks Is this a new Folksy thing or do we now have to remove sold items from our shops ourselves instead of them automatically being removed by Folksy as they are sold . had to scurry around and create another item… all was well but could have been tricky ! just like to know really xxx
On your recently sold items there is 1 item that has been sold, that is the fox bauble, and when I click on that it does say “Sold Out”. It doesn’t appear on your listed items, so all is good x
If the stock is zero a listing will never appear in your shop. It will be on your dashboard in the out of stock listings until it reaches it’s expiry date (4 months after listing) and then will move to expired. but it will Never be actually showing for sale in your shop is stock is zero.
Yes it is now!! I physically removed it myself lol !!
Sorry Maureen but I absolutely don’t understand what you are saying.
Could you explain ?.
Your shop is showing just one Sold item… the wintery fox… You have not removed that as it is and was showing in your Sold items. So what was sold that was showing in your shop and you have now removed ?.
The item i sold last week was automatically removed from my ‘for sale’ items. Are you sure you hadn’t accidentally set the quantity to 2 or renewed a previously hidden listing that had then expired?
That was my thinking I have Never had a sold item appear back for sale once the stock was zero because only non zero stock items show in the shop.
Just reread the original post . What is meant by having to scurry to create another. . another what ? Listing or sold item ?
I admit to being quite confused by this ?
What i think happened is - item A sold but either had a quantity of over 2 or was accidentally renewed when it expired so was returned to sale and then it sold again so she had to quickly make another item A. (If the same item sells multiple times it only shows up on the sold items page once)
