Folksy 365 - Daily Listing Challenge Club - September 2020

Sorry guys, I’ve got to do it! I’ve been asked about Christmas tea cosies already, so I’ve got a few to list, some seasoned favourites, some new ones. Can’t believe it’s Friday already, hope everyone has got some lovely plans for the weekend

Morning everyone,
Hope the painkillers start working soon Sarah @thedotterypotter.
Thanks for including me in your Folksy Friday board Max @MaxPringJewellery.

I’m getting disturbed at the number of people mentioning the C*******s word. I feel like I should start making card and gift tags, but find it difficult to get started when it’s sunny outside. :woman_shrugging:t2: Having said that with the current situation and potential for local lockdowns over the next few months, many people will hopefully be shopping online and possibly earlier than usual. :crossed_fingers:t2:

One for the boys today. I will apologise in advance for bombarding you with cards for teenage boys, but they seem to be one of my best sellers over the last few months, so I am replenishing my shop. Are teenage boys difficult to buy cards for? Anyway, will try to spread them out over the month, so it isn’t the same thing every day.

Morning everyone,
We had an internet free day yesterday, so I’ve got a lot of catching up to do! I didn’t get much done, my sewing just keeps going wrong, if it’s not the sewing machine playing up its my hand sewing, sewing things the wrong way round more than once. It’s very frustrating.

@SueTrevor I know exactly how you feel Sue. I’ve gone back to free motion but it’s not really for me. I find it really frustrating not being in control. Your work is always so professional.
@HandknitBySam Thanks for including my wrap in your lovely collection.
Folksy Friday is something I haven’t done for years. If it’s not a stupid question, what do you use to make the layout?

Morning everyone  Thanks so much for the well wishes. I must admit that I haven’t started taking any medication yet (Some of you know that I have a medication anxiety/ phobia, so it takes a lot for me to pluck up the courage to take anything) - I’ve been using the hot and cold packs but will probably try to take a diazepam later! I’m sitting on a compression cushion, so I’ll see how I get on with that! I have been doing the sciatica excercises for a while but this time, it’s not responding so well - I guess it’s because it’s been going on so long.

1 sale to report please Max @MaxPringJewellery - thanks so much for including my buttons in your Folksy Friday too x

Thanks Cat, I think it’s the machine playing up, not me, I’ve tried all the usual tricks and nothing’s working, it seems to be the spool not the top thread, which probably means it is the top thread. I shall have a go in a bit when I’ve done some more hand sewing, if it doesn’t work I’m retiring

A girl after my own heart, Sarah @thedotterypotter. Although I have rheumatoid arthritis I haven’t taken pain killers for thirteen or fourteen years - mind over matter and exercise (and a lot of moaning to poor Francis, who is in much the same boat and won’t take anything although he can’t find a comfortable position for his aching leg.) Moan over. Age is a pain, but is better than the alternative!
Thank you for including my ballerina T-shirt on your board Max @MaxPringJewellery.
I’ve relisted a couple of kanzashi headbands, which most of you won’t have seen I think.

Morning all, caught up to here. So many pretty things - too many to mention!
Cat @BabanCat I use Canva to do my boards, but BeFunky is another one - Kim wrote a tutorial in the first post of this thread… Promoting Folksy
Alison @FluffStuffCrafts I feel the same, it’s so wrong thinking about the C word in September! But…I posted a WIP shot of some star decorations yesterday & had two people ask when they would be available, so clearly my customers don’t feel the same!! I think your teenage boy cards are fab & different, which is why they’re popular - not all boys play football but that’s all you get in shops!
Lynn @erkinwald tiny typo in the title of your lovely mitts (blackl)

Love your wooden holder @SulikoSoul, don’t see any dimensions (though I’m famous for overlooking things) so if not there might be help to add these - hope it sells quickly for you.
