Good morning everyone!

Morning  I was in even more pain with the bed last night and I only slept on one pillow instead of two but my neck aches more!
This is a link to the mattress (But we got it as a factory second from a charity shop, brand new but with a mark across the front): https://www.dormeo.co.uk/memory-duofeel.html
I think I’ll have to try and get a sprung mattress again - I’ve never had this kind of issue with any other mattress in the past. I’m in agony today, I feel like I’ve been locked in a tiny box, all scrunched up and left there for a week - lol!

Just unpacked the stoneware firing, some nice bits and some bits that stuck to the kiln shelf and cracked! The toadstool that I posted about on FB and instagram yesterday turned out OK - I’ll pop a photo of it on FB later after I’ve shown the customer!

Be back with a listing later now that I’ve had a whinge!!

Oh no that’s not good, you can’t go on like that! We got our mattress from Dreams, but there are tonnes out there, we have an individual pocket sprung mattress, made all the difference, both hubby and I have back and joint issues for differing reasons, and this one mattress suits us both.

Is there any way you could get your money back on your mattress?

Morning everyone! Mix of sun & cloud today, but definitely feeling Spring…

I’m so behind!!! We’re back from a trip Up North (as they say in these parts)… We drove to Derby in that rain storm you were in Sue @SueTrevor - twas a huge storm - we hit it at Bristol, it was still chucking it down when we arrived in Derby to stay with old friends! Then a daily train commute from Derby to Sheffield to play lots of good tunes at the Easter Sheffield Sessions - twas good fun… Love that Wiggly Spire in Chesterfield & had fun riding the Tram - amazed at the hills & dips it does…

We left Red Brick Derby in the snow & arrived back to 12Āŗc in Granite Cornwall - we’re weather spoilt! Tho we do love it Up North…

It’s a re-list for me - Do have new designs on the go, blocks being cut, but have Paper Tearing day today - New Paper arrived yesterday, always exciting!

Hope your bug doesn’t get a hold Sue @sueTrevor & you recover soon
Hope your elbow & neck pain recovers too Sarah @thedotterypotter. Think you should splash out on a new mattress if you can - good sleep is so important! have you tested them out in a bed store?
Thanks for continuing the thread this month Max @MaxPringJewellery

Caught up & loved to here.

I don’t think I could get my money back - it didn’t come with any guarantees and it was only Ā£100. It does split into two and my two boys have said that they would want one mattress each if I don’t get on with it. I don’t know if they would be full single mattress size though - I’d have to measure them.

Sounds like you had a fab trip Elly @EllyRowbothamPrintmaker - can;t wait to see your new designs
No, I haven’t tested out mattresses at a bed shop yet - TBH, we didn’t really have the spare cash for a mattress but we finally had to as the springs had torn out of the cover on the old one (bit dangerous) This one seemed too good to be true in our price range - it was! hehe!
May have to use up some savings on a new one now. The last one was a hand me down from MIL who passed away and it was from IKEA - it was comfortable enough but didn’t really last very well.
May just go to a bed shop, check them out and see what firmness I want!

Well if the boys have it between them then not all is lost. Hope you get one that suits you soon or you’ll be out of action literally!

Having one of those days where I do lots I’m just not sure I’ve achieved anything, next up is photographing some opal earrings but I’m not convinced the light is right for it.
Since you got fordite yesterday its not fordite today.

Afrernoon everyone . Dreary weather here :slightly_frowning_face: Managed a bit of me time at table though :grinning: My daughter set up in the kitchen too, painting her HUGE canvas . (in between doing a bit of clay work , model making , photography etc etc!) So I was able to do a little whilst she paints. She never does anything by halves or is that she can’t pin herself down to anything? It’s quite nice though!
Well done on sales Roz @OrchardFelts wooo hoo hooo :tada:
It does sound like you will have to get another mattress Sarah @thedotterypotter :slightly_frowning_face: You can’t go on like that . It’s good that your sons can have the other one ; shame you have to spend more money though . Look at the pocket sprung ones with a bit of memory foam in . We had a ā€˜shop soiled’ one that was cheaper ewwwww that sounds rank but it had just been on display! Hope you can solve this soon .
Your trip ā€˜up North’ sounds good Elly @EllyRowbothamPrintmaker My brother lived in Derby before he went to New Zealand . Bet you are glad to be back to your southern temps :sun_with_face: Enjoy paper tearing!
Have a good evening all.

Afternoon folks. Well today Iā€ve been delving in my Forgotten Projects box - anyone else have one of those? I came up with a fold-formed cuff bangle that I made some time ago and didn’ t like at all! I cut it up and have made two of the pieces into a pair of earrings. Iā€m quite pleased with the result -they’re certainly a bit out of the ordinary. But will anyone be bold enough to wear them?
