So sorry Maxine, but I’ll have to dip out of the Feb thread. We are off on holiday for most of February (the perk of being technically retired!!). I think that, when i come back I shall have to spend March putting some more stock into my shop on the Dark Side 
. But I will try to get back in April; I love this thread so very much. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging. Anyway, I’ll post again tomorrow then wave good-bye for a bit.

Evening all.
Had a busy day today ferrying daughter to an interview for college placement, where she wants to do art full time. Thankfully they offered her a provisional place, hopefully now it will give her the incentive to revise for her GCSE’s !

Boy does my luck need to change. I’m fighting this cough and cold which is far from easy with a weakened immune system. I went to bed at 6.45pm yesterday as I could hardly keep my eyes open but by 12.45am I was still laying there coughing and having not been able to get to sleep so I gave up, got up and had a shower and am sitting here with a Beecham’s.
And to top it off, after 20 years of driving without a scratch, yesterday afternoon I stoved the back door of the car in on the neighbours fence so today it’s getting quotes to see if it’s worth going through the insurance or not

Hope you feel better soon Carol @Knittingtopia, I thought I was bad waking up at 4am this morning! Don’t talk to me about insurance after my accident last year my insurance wants to put up my premium by over £130! and it wasn’t even my fault! so this weekend will be spent getting another quote
