Afternoon everyone. Just had lunch with my parents.
Work emailed me yesterday and as from next week Iām working every Friday during the school summer holiday. Not sure if itās actually school or like a summer club Iām going to. Sometimes we even take vulnerable adults to their work placement.

Caroline @Caroleecrafts you are so right! Like Angela @aamjewellery, I immediately thought of Curly Wurlys. Thereās a theory that these things are the same size but seemed bigger when we were kids because we were smaller. I donāt believe it for a second - they are definitely not as big as they used to be!

Hi @CoralRoseCrafts thank you, I live on the Isle of Wight so all of my glass comes from there. Mind you there are lots of different beaches here so Iām spoilt for choice. I like the sound of a beachcombing bag, I usually take two carrier bags with me, one for the keepsies and one for plastics and other rubbish that goes straight in the bin! I figure that if Iām taking treasures from the beach its only right that I should take things that are clogging up our beautiful oceans 
Iām off to Cornwall in September so am getting excited to discover new treasures there.

I know I saw a beachcomber bag pattern recently. Iāve just been looking for the pattern and I canāt find it! I can picture it! I could reproduce it and make my own pattern but that would require more effortā¦ It was a round bag with a little handle perfect for collecting rocks, shells etc. Better than a carrier bag! Iāll keep looking.

Seems no matter what happens, at the moment I just canāt get here any earlier. Doesnāt help that hubby is doing some DIY, which unfortunately he just canāt do in his own and has to get me involved in too!
