Iâve had a very frustrating day. The painting I was working on has been ruined by masking fluid removing the top layer of paper. Thatâs not happened to me before. Perhaps the paper wasnât dry when I applied it, or perhaps the fluid was ropey (Iâve had it a long time). Iâve had to start it again anyway. Never mind, worse thing happen at sea.
Relist today of a reduced item.

I normally embrace âhappy accidentsâ, but not on this occasion I donât think. The area affected is too large. Itâs not one I would want to sell (though it would look alright on my own wall).

Evening all. It stayed fine today, so I managed to cut the grass and tidy up the garden a bit.
My daughter is coming home on Monday for a few weeks, we havenât seen her since the start of March, so looking forward to catching up with her.

For the benefit of Tracy @wonkycowcrafts - Iâve copied my earlier posting on Spangles.
Back in Caveman Days, as my kids used to say, when I was a schoolgirl, we had a slot machine in the girlsâ toilets for certain essential bits of feminine where-with-all. One day a first year boy approached me, and complained that we obviously had some kind of slot machine in the girlsâ - he could hear it, and it wasnât fair, the boys hadnât got one. âWhat does it sell?â he asked. âOh,â said a girl behind me. âThatâs the Spangle machine.â âIf I bring some money tomorrow, will you get me some?â he asked. My sister and I have called sanitary products âspanglesâ ever since!
