Morning all,
I am such an idiot, somehow I missed the deadline to enter the quilt competition at the NEC this summer. Iām furious with myself, so many more thousands of people get to see my work. This year really isnāt happening for me, sales are quiet on here, shows are non existent. I donāt know what else to doā¦

Good morning, very grey and rainy here in Newbury.
However my morning was brightened to wake up to a sale, so please can you add one to the tally for me Max @MaxPringJewellery
My item for today is a pretty bezel set Labradorite gemstone keyring or handbag charm.

I think Iām all caught up! Some lovely items and I notice that when Iāve gone to like a few that they have sold so well done!! Hoping some of the sales dust will rub off!!
A knitting pattern from me today, one that I hope I get away with for the theme of the day too!!
Good morning. Well done on all the sales. Iām still waiting for the sales fairy to find her way up the M6 to Scotland.
Please could someone advise me? I posted a cushion to a lady on 24th April and 3 weeks later the PO returned it as not picked up. I emailed her and yesterday 2 weeks later she asked me to resend it as she had been too busy to pick it up. Do I pay the postage? Thanks
More cushions
Off to view and love

Thanks all for the welcome, and @MaxPringJewellery, thank you so much for the help with creating the link, thatā s much easier than I anticipated!
Right , second day for me. Iām mostly caught up with everyoneās posts and I think I havenāt left anyone out when I went to like their creations - such beautiful things everyone makes!
Iāve listed another of my little houses:
Ah so that how it works, no wonder if Iām waiting for the fairy to get to Aberdeenshire!!
It depends, the buyer has stated that it was her fault for not collecting the parcel, I would have then said her responsibility for postage as you do get 18 days to collect. However if you think itās worth keeping her onside then you could cover it yourself.
@thedotterypotter, thatās really helpful! With everyoneās advice I think Iāve figured it out now! xx
Morning everyone
Dreary out there
Lovely makes everyone . Welcome Iris @CaveCrafts Love your little houses.
Hope you enjoy Rhod Gilbert Max @MaxPringJewellery Love him . In fact āsawā him at a local cafe but actually only noticed his dog . Didnāt see Mr Gilbert , made a fuss of his dog and went on my way! I only knew it was him as the people I was with, were watching . How rude of me! but I expect that was better for him
(good luck finishing your assignment too, Max )
Have a good day all .
Morning all well Iāve just settled down after the sale yesterday
Today I have a bootee and mittens set and a jasper long line necklace.
Has this lady bought from you before?
I would politely ask her if she could pay for re postage, or ask if she would instead prefer for a refund of the item costs, minus the original postage, ā¦ as none of this was your fault after all.

@SueTrevor How annoying! I know youāve got a course booked next year but do you run regular workshops? I for one need to concentrate on machine embroidery.
@valerie Thatās a difficult one. You could say as a goodwill gesture, this once, you will cover the postage so that she knows that she should really pay. As @JenStarKnits said itās always worth keeping buyers on your side.
@MaxPringJewellery Enjoy RhodMax. Heās so funny.
@carolinefrodsham Iām sure Rhod would have preferred that you made a fuss of his dog and not him. Heās extremely shy. I often see him around. Last time he was in M&S wearing dark glasses and a bobble hat (he had other clothes on too). He would have gone unnoticed if it hadnāt been for the fact that it was night time during the recent really hot spell.
@BeadstormJewellery Iāve got an appointment this afternoon with my GP. I moved last year so Iāll have to go through it all again to be referred. The last time I saw a specialist he was so rude. He told me to come back when my hand couldnāt open. I told him I needed to drive for my job and couldnāt wait for that. He said to get an automatic!
Itās a Folksy Favourite so Iād better relist this blanket.
