Folksy 365 - Daily Listing Challenge Thread - JUNE 2019

Hi Valerie, I think I would say…, Yes of course I can repost for you! I can send you a PayPal invoice for the postage now, and get them off to you as soon as possible.

Alternatively I would just bite the bullet and pay to resend , hoping that they remember me for great customer service and shop again.
Better that than them cancel the sale and want a refund -which still leaves you out of pocket for one lot of postage.

@valerie As it’s her fault being too busy to pick it up, and nothing you did wrong that means she didn’t get it, then I think it’s reasonable that she pays for it to be reposted. If you want to show amazing customer service you could offer to pay/split the cost, but that’s totally up to you, and may depend how much the shipping is to whether you want to!

I was just dreading this happening as someone got in contact with me almost a month after I’d posted their paintings (internationally) to let me know they hadn’t arrived yet. Turns out they arrived a week after I’d posted, but the delivery man never left a card when they weren’t in
Thankfully still there when they finally went to collect, but I really thought it’d gone over the time they normally wait to return parcels, and I definitely didn’t want to pay for that one again at £40.

What a foul day, it’s been persisting down since mid morning!

Oh Sue @SueTrevor what a shame :disappointed: you must be absolutely gutted.
Valerie @valerie how annoying! I can understand you saying it’s not worth the hassle, but how thoughtless of your customer. Not only are you out of pocket but it’s an extra trip and extra time spent on it for you.
Oh my goodness Cat @BabanCat how dreadfully unsympathetic of that specialist. Someone so rude and uncaring should not be working in the medical profession!

I’m so glad it’s Friday. The day job has been a nightmare this week - problem after problem. If only I could craft full time.

My new listing today is NOT a purse - yay!!! I’m giving bunting a try again, even though it never seems to do very well. I wish I knew why! All loved and pinned to here.

Evening all. Been a miserable day here today - my garden has been flattened by the rain! Good thing though as I’ve got painting to do - nothing so lovely as some of your listings, but glossing woodwork - joy!

Congrats to all with sales - happy dancing for you all  Another matching set from me today…

I recently had a painting returned that was posted on March 6th !!!
So it had been floating around for nearly 3 MONTHS.
It was marked that the USPS was unable to deliver…the envelope hadn’t even been opened. The lady contacted me in April and was a lovely lady who was happy for me to paint something similar…
She has no idea why it wasn’t delivered but said that the USPS can be like that sometimes.
She was SO nice, that I have resent it to her (she now has TWO)
It pays to do things like this because she came back and bought three more !
Good customer relations…

I hope you all don’t mind but since I don’t get much time to post at the weekend I’ve done an extra listing today. I’ve all caught up to this point so should hopefully get back online at some point on Monday to see how you’ve all gotten on;

@PocketfulCreations You’re right Helen. I suppose I was used to a certain amount of flippancy from my GP. When I told him I was going to the gym he said, ‘What do you want to do that for? Get a labrador. That will walk the arse off you.’
Hope you have a restful weekend after your horrible week.

All loved and pinned to here.

@BabanCat what rude doctors! I hope you get a different specialist this time around.

I’m trying some slightly smaller unicorns to see how they fare.

I’ve met a few! At least my GP had a certain type of humour. You just had to get used to him.

Yes, your GP sounds more humorous whereas that specialist just sounded downright nasty. My GP always makes humorous remarks. - I like that, it always makes me feel at ease.
