What a miserable, rainy day it has been 
but at least the sales fairy has brightened it up for me!

Up really early this morning even for me 
assignment writing now for a few hours then we are off to Cardiff for a wander maybe some shopping and then some food before going to see Rhod. We didn’t realise until a few days ago it clashes with a Rick Astley and Take That Hits show at the stadium so town will be packed and parking difficult later on so we’re going in early to avoid the rush later on

A week end of decorating so perhaps it’s not so bad the weather isn’t very nice. Off the unload the wardrobes so we can move them and clear the room.

Morning all,
It was my daughter’s private view last night. The whole show was absolutely astonishing. So much brilliant work. For those that wanted to see her work, here’s a photo.
As you can see, a totally different colour palette to my work, based on architecture, with a theme of sustainability, natural and recycled fibres, using wool, cotton, bamboo and techniques include print, flocking, trapunto, weave and embellishing.

Thanks for the commiserations yesterday, I was too busy to respond. Yes, i have got some teaching to do, including one next weekend, but not enough really, I dont want it to take over my life, I love making.

Bit on the wet side up here in the north east today.
Spent some of the morning taking stuff to the tip and clearing out my wardrobe. Lots of clothes that I have been hanging onto for years but never wearing, so I have been ruthless and had a good clearout.
Fabulous work by your daughter Sue @SueTrevor. Textile talent clearly running in the genes in your family.
Cake themed birthday card today, could just fancy a plate of these myself.
