Hi all, I’ll start a new thread tomorrow for Pinterest, and tag everyone who has already said they are interested - of course anyone can join in.
I’m not an expert but I’ve been using it for years.
I can certainly help people get set up if they need it, and then maybe we can start to work out the best way to use it for a business. A lot of the old tricks we’ve been using are no longer as helpful as they were.
I also watched the webinar and yes it was laboured - I turned it off and just looked at the pdf. It wasn’t that comprehensive but it had a few good tips, and it prompted me to go looking. and I’ve found some good videos on YouTube that I can share. Anyway, I’m getting ahead of myself.

evening all. I did a bit of reseearch into pintrest a while ago when they changed the algorithums and found that for those with business accounts multiple pins from the same site (i.e folksy) can cause them to be seem as spam. I used to have an average ‘impression’ of well over 5k a month and now average around 500, which is average I think. I try to have a mix of pins direct from the site (use the pin button on the listing) and ‘create an organic’ pin (upload a photograph and add the link) to keep some variety. Oh and I think Brett @PurpleDragonartsandcrafts it should be 'Ewe’gene in Wales

As for creating new listings for older re-lists, I do for things that have been around a while, usually with a fresh photo, but I don’t delete the old listing I just change the stock to ‘0’ and re-list. This moves the old listing into the expired section but any old links will still lead customers to the shop as they are still valid. I do find that sometimes that re-listing as new with fresh pics results in a sale. But I don’t do this for everything just ones that I think are looking tired (or I’m fed up of seeing )

Good morning.
Quite a productive day yesterday - made quite a bit although nothing completed - I’m not sure why I’m incapable of that final step, I currently have 3 foxes and a hare awaiting whiskers and then they are done. It wouldn’t take long to do but I have moved on to a new project!! Perhaps I’ll try and force myself to do it first thing today.
I am off out to the local sculpture park with and old school pal today. There is an art exhibition on there that I have been wanting to see and if the weather is dry enough we will wander around the park too. Not forgetting the obligatory lunch break too

I do the same thing when I’m making fairies Roz @OrchardFelts the wings are my last thing to add and I often have several just waiting for wings. I wonder why we don’t just push through to the end.
