Overcast, windy and chilly here today, so I think I might be wrapping up and tackling the brambles that are growing up over the fence from the footpath next to out bungalow.
I can sympathise Max @MaxPringJewellery I have a dog who loves to dig holes in the lawn. They do say a tired pup is a good pup, perhaps a good long walk will tire her for a while.

Autumn is here. I didn’t really notice it yesterday as I was painting the kitchen chairs next to the Aga. But I have to put the paint brushes down today as I ran out of paint arghhhhh!
So today I will plant up my tulip bulbs in reused tubs so if the ones in the garden borders fail, as they well might because of the 1st wet then hot weather we had, I can simply pop them in the’holes’.
Then hopefully I will finish a new tea cosie…
In the meantime I have a brand new red velvet hottie for my shop

good morning all…a bit damp outside today…I have to wait for a builder and for my Tesco delivery…
The building job could be expensive…what a year…blocked drains, a gas leak and now my facia boards are all rotting…thank goodness for Folksy and you lovely people that keep me sane (well almost)…

Gosh Brenda @teabreaks what a year for you, strange how things come one after the other. Last year I had the hoover blowup, the front door needed to be replaced, the boiler needed some major bits and pieces and we had to change our car. Hey ho that’s life…
