You’re never alone on that step!

Love the card. It could apply to me. I’ve lost a stone but I’ve bought a double pack of chocolate Hobnobs and can’t leave them alone. I’ve well and truly fallen off the wagon so I’ll probably put it all back on this weekend. :crying_cat_face:

Your shop is lovely Clare. I’d echo some of the advice from others - always use all 15 of your tags and all 5 of your photos (as I don’t think you’re on a Plus account where you get 10). I gather you’re setting up on social media, so add links to social media on Folksy and add links to Folksy on social media - then promote your shop like crazy!

You’ve already made a good move by filling in your About me section. One thing I’d advise is to change your approach to the Inspiration section on each listing. For most of them you direct people to your About me section and I don’t think there’s really much point in the repetition. I personally don’t fill in the Inspiration bit because I don’t like the way that the description and inspiration sections squash up into two columns. However, if you do want to use that section, I’d tailor each one to the individual design in the listing.

I can’t really advise on pricing as I don’t know much about jewellery supply costs or how long it takes to make items.

I hope all this is helpful to you and I wish you every success with your shop. It takes time and a LOT of promotional effort to become established, so don’t get disheartened if things don’t move as fast as you’d like.

Could you add a sale for me please Natalie @NOfkantsCurios

I’m late again today as I’ve been taking and editing lots of photos. It means I’m back on track with new listings anyway. Here’s today’s.

Caught up to here. Looks like it has been a busy day.
It looks like you have made a good start with your shop @clareyates. I know nothing about selling jewellery, other than it is a very competitive market and Folksy is probably no exception in that regard. Brenda @teabreaks gives good advice (thanks for the mention Brenda), getting involved in this thread can help to get your items seen and hopefully lead to sales. Other Folksy members are also potential shoppers of course. As others have said, use all your tags, include a mixture of individual descriptive words and searchable phrases. Social media is important these days, I’ve generated a few sales on Folksy through Instagram. I also tend to use Folksy as if it were my own website and sell my commissioned work through the site as well. Just let as many people as possible know where you are, by whatever means!
Hope your grandma time goes well for you Karen @TheCornishHare.
I’m still waiting for the gloom to clear so I can photograph a new painting. Maybe tomorrow?
A relist for now, a pair of tractor art prints.
