We’ve now claimed our Trustpilot page and we’ve got an ‘Excellent’ rating - which is amazing and really good for instilling potential customers with confidence.
Trustpilot have also now removed the reviews for the rogue site that wasn’t us, so they no longer appear on our page, which is a relief!
We’re going to be integrating Trustpilot more into our website and service, but in the meantime if you’d like leave a review (both as sellers and buyers) please do

Well done for doing this, great news that the rogue site removed too.
Unfortunately I can’t give you a review as my reviews to you are being flagged as I know who used to report me for giving you reviews, ie the guy who runs numonday, who I’ve had a run in with years ago
Thanks for writing a review about folksy.com on Trustpilot.
As part of our efforts to ensure that our community can trust the reviews they read on Trustpilot, we’re constantly on the lookout for unusual activity. We do this by using customized software, dedicated Content Integrity Agents, or a combination of both.
In this case, your review of folksy.com has been flagged because we couldn’t verify its authenticity, and on that basis we’ve removed your review from our platform.
While we’re confident that this is the right call, we appreciate that sometimes we get it wrong. If you think there’s been a mistake here, please do let us know by replying to this email and a member of our Content Integrity Team will review this decision with you.
And they want my name and address which I will not do so, to prove it’s my account on here , also want a list of my orders which I’ve bought and sold
I’m not sure this is the right place for my issue, but I will be happy to mention it somewhere else if I need to.
After I finally managed to get a few sales on Folksy, I got an email a couple of hours ago, asking me for a trustpilot review. My problem with this, is that according to the email, I am the customer, and I am asked to leave a review as a CUSTOMER, it thanks me for choosing Folksy, and it even mentions that the email is sent automatically, so I might have not received my items yet. I mean… REALLY? I hope my customers didn’t get an email to review their selling experience! I have worked really hard, as we all do here, to get messed up like this, and although I understand the “automatically” part, of this, can you please sort out the emails you send, so the right people get the right emails?
I’m sorry for my tone, but this got me really angry and it shouldn’t have happened!
You need to email Folksy support if it is, as I read from your comment, who you think have arranged the emails. A far more effective way of communicating directly than on here where they may not see it right away. x

@theslothscavern You are Folksy’s customer - you are buying a service from Folksy and it wants your feedback on how Folksy has performed for you (how easy is it for you to set up a shop/ how easy is it for you to manage your shop/ how easy is it for you to get help from admin/ how quickly do they resolve issues / how easy is it for you to see order details/ did they inform you of the sale in a timely manner etc etc)

As Folksy’s customer, it did feel a bit too late to be asked for a review now. After the TrustPilot page was claimed last May, there have been multiple payments (which is my purchase) from my part to keep using the service Folksy offers me. I never received anything. Instead, it came now, after I got the orders. I guess when you get the order you have a better idea of the whole process, but it can also mean that you are more likely to give a better review (marketing trick?). And considering that all my orders came from my existent customers who were actually asked by me to use Folksy when possible, then you can imagine that getting that email didn’t impress me at all. But I guess it’s not possible to keep everyone happy about everything.
I’ll just say that Folksy is in no way like Etsy. It is a really friendly and helpful site. If you get any problems they will help you as soon as they can. Not like the other side . It’s probably an error. I don’t think they would trick you for a review.
