Hi everyone,
Sold 2 items in 2 days but neither has yet paid. This is something that has never happened before, the odd one maybe but for 2 in 2 days not to pay seems a little funny. Anyone else having problems along this line or is it just me expecting too much too quick? As I say, in almost 100 sales, payment is usually (99.9% of the time) made immediately.
Cheers

Quite often people simply charge their minds at check out or they don’t follow the instructions properly.
I’d wait a few hours then check your paypal account.
If nothing has arrived into your paypay account and you have their email you could send a nice polite email.
words to the effect Thank you for your interest in item … I will schedule posting once your payment has been received. If there are any problems please let me know. Looking forward to hearing … etc etc
Thank you for your advise. Just seems a little funny that its 2 orders running within 24 hours. x
This happened to me a couple of weeks ago. A customer who had bought from me quite a few times went through the checkout process as usual but the payment never appeared in my paypal account. I gave it a couple of days just to see if it would sort itself out, but eventually I had to ask her to repurchase the items; not something I liked doing. Definately seems to be a problem as other sellers have reported the same problems; I think this needs to be addressed by both Folksy and Paypal.
Thanks Angela. Definitely something wrong somewhere but where do I go to ask Folksy to check these things? I have emailed both customers but have yet received no reply.

@FabriqueCreations I had a sale on Friday and the customer emailed to say she was having problems with the Folksy check out. I sent her an invoice and she paid. Of course your email as it will be unknown might just go into the customers Spam so they wouldn’t see it.
You could always invoice via Paypal and in the notes say thank you for the purchase etc and that you understand the payment system doesn’t always work on Folksy so here is an invoice!) If you never here from them you just cancel the invoice from your Paypal acc.
Just email admin. via the front page of folksy.com but clicking on ‘Contact Us’ scoll down to ‘Contact Support’ and there you’ll be able to email Folksy admin.
I believe as its sunday you’ll get a auto response saying they’ve received your email. But Someone from Admin will email you again on Monday.
hope that helps
Thanks for your advice Susan, I have sent Paypal invoices with an apology for the Folksy checkout problem.
