I recieved this email on Saturday. I’m reluctant to verify anything with a credit card since I have had an active Folksy store for nearly a year without needing to do this. It does come from a Folksy.com address though! Advice welcome
Yes its a scam.
Yes it is a scam many of us have had the same email see message from Folksy admin in this section of the forum

The email comes from a Folksy address because it’s an email notifying you that someone contacted you through the Folksy message system (that part is genuine), but the message contained within is just from a standard Folksy account and not from Folksy itself (as it says ‘you have received the following message from username’)
Everything before the line is the standard Folksy notification email to let you know someone on Folksy has tried to contact you, everything after the line is the message that they have sent, and this is a scam message. Please do not click on any links and just delete it. We do not need you to verify anything.
We’ve removed the accounts that have been sending these messages and temporarily disabled the messaging system, so no more can be sent out out other accounts, while we work on making this more secure.
