Issuing a refund

I think it’s a minefield with lots of grey areas.

Joy @JOYSofGLASS - I think that means you only have to refund your standard postage charge, not any upgrades that the buyer requests. So if your standard charge is for 1st class, that is what you refund. If they asked for it to go Special Delivery, you would still only have to refund 1st class.

There aren’t really any grey areas, the rules are quite clear. It’s just that most people don’t know what they are!

I’m sure you are right. I am just going to hope that I don’t have any need to check the rules except on rare occasions.

As for paying for the return postage, it’s up to the seller to state in their policies who pays. If you want it to be the buyer then just say so. If you are willing to pay for return postage then do nothing as that is the default.
