Listing items that are similar quickly

Hello,
I feel like I’m missing something- I’m listing lots of my ceramics that are similar but glazed differently. If I copy an existing listing and edit it (like I did on Etsy), it comes up with a notice for each image I delete and it’d very time consuming. If I start from scratch I have to copy and paste each section and choose tags etc which is even more time consuming. Etsy, I have to say, is so much easier to use. I’ve had a bit of a moan, but is there a faster way that I’ve missed please?
Thank you!

Nope, there is currently no faster way unless you list several in a single listing and use Variations to enable customers to choose the colour. (You need to make the listing first and then go back and edit to add variations - I posted a how-to here Newbie! Feedback welcome! - #29 by LooneySpoons)
Yes, the constant notifications on the photo deletions are a pain especially if you use all ten photos - I tend to keep it to three or four for this exact reason, I make lots of similar oneoffs so each time I copy and relist something it needs the photos replacing. I have raised this with Support in the past but I guess it’s not top of their to-do list. Athough at least Folksy Support are actual real humans!

I’m so desperate for Folksy to work for me but it just isn’t and things like this arent helping. I really appreciate you replying though. I will raise this as an issue to as it’s taking me so long I’m probably going to have to go back to Etsy.

Create a draft listing with everything filled in but only 1 photo (I use a photo of my neighbours cat so it’s obvious to me it needs changing) and a generic title. Copy that draft listing when you need to make a new one and that way you only have one photo to change.

That’s a genius idea - thank you!

Great idea Sasha, thank you - I might try that and see whether I can figure out how to make it work for me too!

Why have I never thought of that before…d’oh!

I got a reply from Folksy:
For copying listings on Folksy, we understand your frustration with not being able to delete images in bulk. There are improvements we would like to make to the listing page, however at the moment our focus is on improving the site for buyers, so this isn’t something we’ll be able to prioritise in the near future.
