Can I just ask whether a customer can send me a message prior to purchasing?? this would enable me to get custom dimensions for the item I will make and sell? Like etsy?

They can - I think it’s the “contact seller” button.
It comes through on your email, not Folksy, and you have no idea if you’ve been contacted or not without checking your email. There’s no alert on your Folksy account, no sign at all that someone’s tried to get in touch. It’s a right old pain in the bahookie.
Right cheers. I don’t mind it coming through on email as I get notifications on my phone so that’s alright. The key is whether the customer knows they can contact me thats all.
