Thanks very much for that! I donāt use Folksy that much or would have realised, itās a bit of a damp squib! The order number really should be on the receipt, every other platformās does.

Customer has responded. She got a paypal problem paying message ā¦ a bit oddā¦ never seen this before. Have paypal invoiced her and will mark as paid when she does.

Thereās a help page for this. Itās quite common with the people who hate using PayPal, but also useful when the payment processors are misbehaving for whatever reason.
Thanks Kim, yes I am used to the emails saying they have a problem.
In this case I didnāt get an email at all. I suspect Folksy and Paypal were super busy and disconnected so she didnāt get back to Folksy to tell me about the problem.
I wondered if she had changed her mind part way through payment so when I emailed I checked if she wanted to continue with the order and she did. So I did what I always do when Paypal and Folksy fight and sent her a Paypal invoice which she paid.
Not done one for a while obviously as the payment link must be much improved ā¦ and now the format of the invoice is all changedā¦ grrrr.
~Almost as bad as not being able to do a postage refund via Paypal on my phone and not sorted that one yet !! May involve removing the app and going in to the base site !
Just thought I would mention the problem here though in case others had the same problem and have an order stuck as unpaid.

@dianesdecoupage I received an email from Paypal telling me I had made a sale this morning, but have not had one from Folksy. The sale does appear in my orders, but have not had the usual ācongratulations youāve just made a sale on Folksy etcā. DId you get any response from the Folksy team to your problem Diane, and did you ever get your email notification, as I do appreciate that sometimes the problem is with the internet rather than Folksy.
Just checked the webserverās webmail page and it had spammed it - I have no idea why as I have never had that problem before. Thanks a bunch BT !
I didnt report it as had another sale that came through and received a notification from folksy. I had a wee look in the jink folder but not there. will keep an eye on it though and if happens again I will get in touch with them
If itās any encouragement, last week I received an email that was dated 10 days before it arrived, so you may get it eventually! Fog in cyberspace slowing down traffic?
