I’m aware that there are a few new sellers here who may be seeking to build their Instagram following. Leave your Instagram link and or handle here so we can follow you.
As I’ve started it, I might as well leave mine.

Also. if you have any Instagram related questions, leave them here. I’m not an expert, anyone can pitch in with answers!
Great idea @ChrisStoneArtist. I am not a new shop but back after 6 years and not great with social media so will be checking back regularly to see if I can get any tips!
Here’s mine: www.instagram.com/plaindottycornwall . Very bare at the moment!
Hi all, I’m relatively new here…and new to Instagram too.
My insatgram is: www.instagram.com/fantasy.candles @fantasy.candles
Followed above. Make sure you let people know you are on Folksy (other Folksy sellers will find you), certainly with folksy hashtags. I know the one link rule isn’t always practical if you have your own website for instance. #folksy #newonfolksy #folksyshop are commonly used ones.
Good idea Chris - I keep meaning to go through the 365 thread to see who I’ve missed - this is easier!
Have followed the folks above - I am https://www.instagram.com/orukidesign/
I don’t claim to be any kind of expert, but happy to help with my limited experience!
@Plaindotty I am also someone who feels that way about social media - my main tip would be just to not worry about it too much & just try & post regularly. I know it’s easier said than done - I used to plan posts & spend ages checking them, now I just bash them out so it does get easier! Instagram does seem to like you posting regularly at similar times - when I was being better at social (before all the crazy kicked off!) I posted every weekday evening & my posts got shown to a lot more people.
This link is quite useful (some tips right at the bottom) - https://later.com/blog/how-instagram-algorithm-works/
@ChrisStoneArtist thanks for starting this , i’d also really love to learn about folksy too so hopefully people here can help a bit?
you can find me here https://www.instagram.com/patchworkpetportraits/
look forward to meeting you
Thank you so much @OrukiDesign. Glad to know it’s not just me! I feel so old with all this tech!
Hash tags and ‘at’ thingies - I’d better up my game!
I find it quite difficult posting things. It almost feels like I’m bothering people and boasting but I suppose I need to put my big girl pants on and just get on with it! Wish me luck!!
now following @FantasyCandlesSensesCandleDesign and @patchworkpetportraitsbyjobo .
Here’s a piccie of my spaniel Fudge that I did a while back jobo. So much fun to do!
Thanks for this Chris @ChrisStoneArtist, I followed everyone above.

Than you for the support! I’ll follow you back!
I am not new, but my favourite Social Media is Instagram, and this is the first post I have seen that mentions it.
So my instagram is https://www.instagram.com/thegreetingscardshop/
I have followed you all now.
Good idea of yours Chris.
Thanks
SallyAnn
I do allsorts @patchworkpetportraitsbyjobo. I did think about dong it but doing commissions scares me!
Followed everyone up to here & bumping the post to the top of the list is case there’s any more out there!
Helen @Plaindotty - I don’t think that feeling ever goes away, sorry! I think a lot of crafters feel weird doing the whole ‘look at me, buy my stuff’ thing, but you’ve just got to go for it & try not to worry about it - easier said I know! Remember that those real followers who love your work will actually look forward to seeing your posts & what you’re working on, so you aren’t bothering or spamming them
Hello,
I’m new to Folksy (as of yesterday) my instagram is @Dollypepperstudio, and we sell paper products including greeting cards and stationery. Hope to see some of you over on Instagram!
