Paypal problems again

Notified that I had sold an item, dispatched as required but now 3 days later nothing from Paypal to say I’ve been paid?
Paypal still insist on holding funds for ages, does everyone have this issue?

no, never. I’ve always found Paypal very reliable and never had a problem.

Never had this happen are you using a verified account. I have 2 one personal linked to my personal bank account the other a business verified and linked to my business bank account.

Check you are shown as verified this proves you are trusted.

I’ve always found with paypal I have to log into my account and request a transfer to my bank account, once I’ve requested the transfer it goes through in minutes. Are you seeing the money in your paypal account? Is it just the email notification that has gone missing/ ended up in a junk email folder? Are you sure it wasn’t a stripe payment? For stripe you need to opt in for payment notification emails (done under your profile setting on your stripe dashboard) and they will automatically transfer funds 7 working days later.

I had a sale last week and the paypal notification never arrived, but I went into my account and checked and the money was there, so I sent the item.

We had major problems with PayPal initially but it works ok now so long as we remember to log in and transfer the money. I don’t think we have ever had a notification from PP… We get notifications from Stripe but sometimes we get money in dries and drabs and I haven’t yet worked that out :upside_down_face:

Yep, proves without doubt that I’m not that bright! It was a stripe payment and will be released shortly. It’s so unusual to sell something I forget that they can pay via PayPal or stripe. PayPal hold my payments for a long time as I’m an infrequent user and they think I’m a money launderer!
Thanks for all the help

I was once asked to produce evidence of where I bought my baskets from to resell! I sent them copies of my invoices from my willow suppliers :joy:

Someone at PayPal a basket case?

No, never from my experience. Not sure what the solution may be though.
