Is there a barcode on the confirmation email you got from RM? If yes, and if you can access that on your phone, you can take the parcel at the post office and they will print it out for you scanning the barcode. This is how I do since they messed me up in a very similar way even when I rearranged it!

I find that quite often the do the foot post, than come back with the van. If they do miss, you will get an email telling you what to do.

Itā€™s not very reassuring, is it Mina @theslothscavern ?! I donā€™t use a smartphone, so I guess Iā€™ll wait and see whether they email me. If they donā€™t, and if they donā€™t pick it up tomorrow then Iā€™ll cancel and just take it to the post office.

The fact that you havenā€™t got the email yet saying they couldnā€™t collect might be a good think. As Caroline said, you will get it if they donā€™t come, and you will be able to rearrange. Maybe it is not there as an option yet because itā€™s not yet ā€œmissedā€ in their system. Fingers crossed they will turn up!

Mine are normally collected at the end of the run about 1:30 to 2pm

This is the first time itā€™s been so late for me, he normally takes them when he comes around with the letters first thing. Well thatā€™s fine, I just know now not to take their estimated collection time seriously! (And after wrestling with it for half the day, I now also know I need a new printer. That thing needs launched off a pier!!)

My printer is about to be lobbed from an upstairs window, fed up with them.

I know how you feel! I was getting annoyed with my printer so the other week I bought a Munbyn thermal label printer from Amazon. I love it and couldnā€™t live without it now! :heart_eyes:

I am scared to use my printer as it is radio controlled and frequently tells me that it is offline or it cannot find it, which is why I like the PO to bring the printed label with them and I DO insist on checking it when they come, as sometimes the postie leaves it in his van and I have no way of knowing whose label will go on my parcel without checking it.
