I looked but it wasn’t very clear so I cannot work out new prices…

I know, I hate their price lists - I always feel like I’m peering at my screen with my mouth open and frowning!

I was a bit confused by their International Tracked prices - some countries, like Australia, they’ve picked out individually. Others, like USA, are just in the Zones. So I’m guessing I ignore that Australia is Zone 2 and just look at what it says under ‘Australia’. Overly complicated!

I don’t send standard 1st & 2nd, or standard letter - mine are all either Large Letter or Small Parcel, sent as T24, T48 or Special Delivery. Biggest leap on those I can see is Special Delivery which is going up 50p.

My cards are only £1.50 and cheaper…it will be cheaper for me to hop on a bus and hand deliver at this rate…
I will have to increase my prices…really not fair on people.

AND on tv this morning…in Denmark at the end of the year, they are stopping ALL letter post and the UK might follow suit.
That is me finished if they do that x

The links in my comment above yours will give you a downloadable full price list
I keep them on my desktop

I saw the link but don’t like downloading things …eventually I found another page and took a snapshot of it but couldn’t copy and paste it.x
Pen and paper to the rescue and all written down for me to keep x

You can’t beat pen and paper - I’m with you on that, Brenda

ONE POUND SEVENTY to send a letter first class? Bloody hell.

I’ll be getting a paper leaflet from the post office and highlighting the relevant parts, as per! I can’t read the online version either.

The postage will be higher than the price of my cards if it goes up any further…

I was actually amazed that they’d left the UK Large Letter Tracked48 as it was! There’s now an even bigger difference compared to the Tracked24; and Signed For Large Letter 2nd class is now 65p dearer. So from now on, I will do one type of postage only, Tracked48 Large Letter and make sure that ALL my boxes fit and don’t sneak into the small parcel category!

I’m pretty sure that is what they want to do as there is no money in it for them. They just want the parcel post as people still want parcels posting!

I am going to have to take another look at my postage prices. Small businesses are going to take the hit on this.

I bought some flat boxes that are the largest size for large letter sized.

I’ve got lots of different sizes and shapes but some things are just too chunky - or the Post Office person is in a bad mood and hikes it up to small parcel status when it really isn’t!

With Tracked 48 Large Letter, do you have to have the customer’s email and mobile number?

No you don’t have to add the customer’s email or phone number for either track24 or track48, if you do add it they will get delivery updates (out for delivery, estimated delivery times etc) but it doesn’t have to be added.
