Selecting the Like for Folksy Posts

Not sure whether everyone does this, but each morning I check my Rustic Country Style Crafts Facebook postings and I ‘like’ all the folksy posts that I see (I also select to set my page to recent posts as opposed to Facebook deciding which ones I should view first!). I always get a kick out of fellow crafters liking my posts so believe that other shop would also like to see that their post has been recognised by a Folksy shop owner.

A good idea Katie, (if I could get my act together) I get behind with facebook, sometimes don’t go on for a few days at a time, I much prefer instagram and do spend more time on there, I don’t always have time for everything,

I do if I see another Folksy seller, know Debby does as often likes my posts.

I think there is a risk of just ‘liking’ posts on Facebook as I think it’s classed as spamming by Facebook. I try to like a few a day but also add a comment. One of my regular activities each morning is to go through the Folksy front page and ‘love’ products on there.

If you want your FB responses to be any use you need to leave a comment of at least a few words. Just a like may be better than nothing but doesn’t earn many FB brownie points

Yes. FB do that. I do tend to respond to many of the posts I see as it is important to tell why I’ve left liked/loved their posts. It’s my morning coffee online chat … Well, sentence chat

Yes when I do go on facebook to post (every few days) I always visit the Folksy shop page and work through some of those until i think I have caught up (although I am sure I must miss quite a few) but I don’t just like everything, If I see something I genuinely like or love then I ‘like’ it and often comment on pieces I love but I don’t just ‘like’ every item or there’s not much point in it. I don’t do the whole ‘like for like’ thing. I usually like yours Caroline as I love your nostalgic kind of work.
