Shop Merging

Has anyone done it? I don’t just make stained glass. I do other things and I’m thinking of simplifying my life by selling them all under one shop. This might also maximise the benefits of the fee I’m paying for a plus account.

I’ve done this quite successfully elsewhere. But for some reason I feel stuck with doggedly focusing my shop on one product.

I added Fused glass objects and fused glass jewellery without a problem. I have the fused as separate categories and sell quite happily both stained and fused and sometiimes both in the same order. I would go for it. Nothing to lose.

Hi, I have set up 2 shops for my items, I started years ago with my Bags of Elegance shop back in 2011 selling hand crfated bags and accessories, but recently I have been making upcycled clothing and accessories, I didnt think that the 2 would gel very well so I set up another shop, however I do have all of my products from both ranges on my own website and on E…
I think it depends how different your products are and its personal choice, I get that you are paying for plus, so maybe get the benifit from that. I dont have plus, I have tried it a few times but I dont sell or make enough items to warrent the fees.

You don’t get much more different than Alan”s photography and my basketmaking but we have our own joint shop. Our individual promotions on our Facebook pages and at shows etc direct people to our shop thereby potentially introducing new customers to the other persons work. Same as if you had very different pieces in one shop - someone might spot something else quite different from what they expected :grinning:

Hi Maddie

Go for it. I sell my jewellery and children’s knitwear together and I don’t think I loose sales for doing the two together.

Don’t forget to include your published books as you are a talented author.

Photos looking good. Do check out your shop announcement, it has several spelling errors.

Thanks Maddie,
Found one spelling error but can’t see anymore. I am dyslexic so I don’t see my errors!
