Having successfully made several Folksy Friday boards on my android phone using Befunky, I seem to have lost the knack today. Even 'im-indoors is mystified.
I have downloaded images of the products I want to include, but once I’ve created the template in Befunky, the only pictures that come up as an option to fill the squares are photos I have taken on my phone.
Does anyone have any idea what I’m doing wrong and are you able to explain in very simple terms please?

Sorry, can’t help as I don’t use Befunky but going forward would you be open to using other similar programmes like Canva?
I have used this off many recommendations and so far, so good!
Hope it started cooperating when you needed it later on in the day x

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, I think I will give Canva a go. I’m sure the problem is me and my lack of technical skill - I hope Canva won’t notice! x

I don’t have an android, so guessing wildly here (although I do like the simplicity of befunky). Were the images downloaded to your photo album? Were they the correct file type? Sorry if that’s no help.
I just had a look at the app reviews and there’s some comments about this, and BeFunky have replied that there’s a known issue where you can only select images from one folder. Hopefully as they know about this and it’s getting them bad reviews, they will be working on fixing it, but who knows when it’ll be sorted.
I usually use it on my computer, which works fine, but if you only have the option of your phone, if you can switch your browser to desktop mode, you can go on the BeFunky website and use the desktop version. It’s a bit more clunky as it isn’t designed for a phone, but it does seem to get around the problem.

That’s great Kim, thank you so much. As I say I have used Befunky on my phone with no trouble before, so it makes sense that there is some sort of issue at the moment. That’s a good tip about using the website rather than the App though.
I think you’re right about most of these things working better on a computer.
I will do my best to be up and running for nest Folksy Friday! X
