Can anyone please help? Trying to create my first Folksy Friday board from my phone. Problem is - the ‘Be Funky’ app won’t let me access downloaded photos and doesn’t seem to allow access to different areas where I have photos on my phone. I’m probably being a doofus but would really appreciate some idiot proof assistance! Thank you. Becca 
I’ve only been using it from my laptop and it was pretty straight forward as was easy to find where I’d saved the images but don’t think I’d have a clue on a phone. Hopefully someone else will know and we’ll both learn something. Good luck and hopefully you’ll get there - tech can be extremely frustrating

Thank you. Hope someone knows how to do it on phone, my laptop is out of order!

Pretty hopeless at explaining, but have you allowed BeFunky access to your photos to use.
I set mine up a good while ago, but remember you have to click allow somewhere on set up, to let them be downloaded to use if that makes sense.

Later - nope. That didn’t work! I allowed access but still only takes me to one option for photos rather than a choice from all my files etc

Oh sorry it didn’t work.
Just a thought for today, why don’t you go to the shops again you are choosing from, select their item, press on it and save to photos, until you have all your 8 (that’s if you are doing a 9 grid board) and then add the Folksy Friday logo photo, then they should be fresh and last in your photo grid, so should be able to use on BeFunky, instead of searching for files it won’t let you access, if you get my meaning.
I have just done mine (just gone on the promotion thread) for this week, but again sorry if I am not clear here, as I say hopeless at explaining.

Hi Judy, that’s what I did. The photos are all saved in my downloads folder (just like I do when posting photo of other shops stuff on the forums). Be funky will only go to ‘camera’ files for some reason. I tried to move the photos around (hard to explain) to what I thought was that file? It just got too frustrating so I’m leaving it until my tecchie partner comes in and presses something for a second, fixes it, then rolls his eyes at me

When I have photos on my phone I’ve saved from somewhere, I have to save them actually onto my phone before I can use them anywhere. I have to swipe up on the photo to get the details and there’s a button that says save, and then they’re actually in the camera section of my phone.
I have this problem on Instagram, I have to save the photos to my phone before they show up and allow me to post them.
No idea how this all works either, so I hope that made sense! If not then I hope your partner can help haha

We all need those helpful techie folk don’t we… for me it’s my daughter’s, and yes I get the eye rolls and usually laughed at!

Woohoo! Gave up on Be Funky, did it on Instagram Layout in the end. Just chuffed I managed to solve it on my own without the rolling eyes! Thanks to everyone for their help.xx😊
