There is a way of stopping that I think, if you go to the edit board button there is a button to stop e-mail notifications. It works on other group boards I belong to.

Hi @AnitaRoseDesigns I’m getting lots of lovely new pins on my feed since following which is great but I’ve not yet received an invite to join in with pinning.
