Having just read the Folksy talk summary I would like to add, I recently contacted Folksy for help and guidance particularly in view of the massive increase in rates, I received no help, in fact I did not even get the courtesey of a reply. I then, for the first time approached this forum, I was astounded at the kindness and time given by other members. I am now albeit slowly working with the advice given. I really expected better from Folksy clearly that’s misplaced.
I have been with Folksy since 2009 and I have Never not had a response. In fact the system gives an automated response to any message you send which is then followed a day or two later by a personal one. Did you check your spam/junk mail … you may well find there is one in there.
I have always had a response too. First the automated one, followed up by a specific response to my query within a couple of days.
Thanks for your replies, I did receive the usual”bounce back” reply but as that is exactly what it is an automated response I don’t class that as a reply. As stated previously I am just grateful for the time given to me by other “Folksy” members.
@zulekhastudio We’re sorry if we appeared to be unresponsive, I’ve just checked and the last email we got from the email address on your account was on 21st October 21, which I assume isn’t the email you’re referring to.
Was this the address you used? Can I also check how you contacted us? Was it through the contact form on the website or by emailing support@folksy.co.uk? Unfortunately as it appears your message didn’t get through to us, it’d be really useful to know this so we can try to find out why it didn’t work, as obviously we don’t want to miss anyone’s questions.
And obviously if you still want your question answering by Folksy, you can forward the email to support@folksy.co.uk and hopefully we’ll have better luck receiving it this time!
Hello, I sent my message to support@folksy and got an acknowledgement back. this is the only email address I use. Thankfully as I stated previously I then approached the Folksy Forum and was given lots of helpful advice which I am currently working on.
I’ve always had a prompt reply from folksy and they have always been very helpful.
