My customers are contacting me saying when trying to pay via paypal on android or iPhone, laptop etc the payment won’t go through.
I’m new to folksy so any help in regards to this would be greatly appreciated as I’m losing custom fast!
Did you write correct paypal? Did you double check?
When I first set up my shop, years ago, the first thing i did was do a test purchase from myself… to check that my Paypal was correctly set up… it was also useful as it showed me the emails sent both to customer and seller when the sale goes through. Why not try that and if you have a Paypal problem you will at least see the error messages your customers arer getting.
Thats a brilliant idea Joy, that would be a really good suggestion to pass on to Folksy HQ, maybe they could add it to the info for startinp a shop to help newbies that way they wouldn’t have the panic/worry that Dawn has had.

Thankyou so much… i got my daughters boyfriend lol to try with his paypal. It refused his payment but at least i got to view the reason. It stated payment was refused as my shop didn’t except PayPal. So i went on and checked the my email attached to my PayPal account was correct in my folksy account which it was. However, i suddenly remembered that i clicked on my email in the predicted text (if you know what i mean? Instead of typing it all in. I have had problems on other sites when you do this like it doesn’t recognise the email address even tho its correct. I deleted the last part of my email and re typed in back in, saved it and guess what… when he tried again it worked! Yay… thankyou for all your help and advice x
