Just popping by briefly as I’m incredibly busy at the moment, but wanted to say that the artwork on here is looking great! I like seeing the diversity of art on here, both two dimensional and three dimensional, and all the different media used.
Waving to all - hope everyone has a lovely Bank Holiday weekend! :sunny:

Thank-you Max. Your comment is very much appreciated.

Have a great bank holiday weekend all

Love that shed Stephie, the colours are fab!

Max, my boss is not impressed. He says I’ve been ā€˜snaffled’ in his absence and he’s not happy. He tended to treat me as his PA when I’m only paid as an admin assistant. I’ve been taken out of his team and am now simply a generic admin person in the admin pool. Personally I’d rather have stayed in his team, I quite liked working over and above what I really am. It’s difficult to shine in a pool rather than a team so my motivation is likely to suffer. Still, it’s a job, and it’ll all change again in a few years, it always does!

Margaret, that sounds awful that you were moved in your Boss’s absence…such a waste of your talent and dedication to your job. …I hope it doesn’t affect you too much.

That’s a real shame Margaret, I can see why your boss was annoyed and worse for you, maybe there was some underlying jealousy, it all sounds like someone playing office politics to me! hope you are able to find a way to keep your motivation up and we are always here to listen when you want to blow off steam

no painting this weekend yet, I have been designing some new wire pendants from an idea buzzing around my head, I did use my drawing skills though to do some ā€˜artist impressions’ lol.
this is what I have been up to

morning all, hope you are all enjoying a long weekend. We went to a car boot yesterday and I got talking to a stall holder who had lots of crafty items for sale, bought a marbling kit and somehow I ended up buying a 2nd hand Cricut electronic paper cutter from her! I have had one on my want it/need it list for a long time but always been out of my price range, well I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw one at the car boot, brand new still in the box with all the bits and it works perfectly for a 3rd of the usual price! I have been spending time getting to learn how it all works, I have been practicing and found it will cut boxes, envelopes, cards, all kinds of shapes and writing and pictures, sooooo much fun! anyway were off to another boot sale and fayre today coincidentaly the lady I spoke to yesterday will be there giving demonstrations and workshops

have a great day whatever you are doing

One day I will go to a boot fair and sell off some of the 300+ rubber stamps that I have accumulated over the years…and…and…
Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday weekend…hopefully I will be painting and listing.
I am putting my prices up on September 1st but those already listed will stay the same price until the listing expires. I’ve been cheap for far too long . :grinning:

Oh Max what a find! I really must visit a car boot sale, so many people get amazing bargains from them.

I just found this unlisted aceo from my Cornwall hols (seems an age ago) and have just added it to my shop.

Waving to everyone :raising_hand:
