Iāve used moo for cards in the past, they are excellent in terms of quality (350gsm, satin outside, matt inside) but you are gambling on your images being of a good enough quality. They put them through some whizzy software to brighten them etc for printing, and Iām pleased with the ones I have had done there. HOWEVER, they really do not compare with the ones I have had done at my printers, who have a choice of sizes and thickness. The secret with going local is to get LOTS of proofs done first. My locally printed cards are amazing picture quality, much better than moo.
Fabulous artwork from everyone, I love Brendaās woodland the best.
Here are my butterflies at the beach, just three in this series so far.
Stephie, those are stunningā¦you do fab butterfliesā¦
waving Tessa and Mariaā¦
well done on those totals Hazelā¦I have only sold just over 200 in 4 years, so that is good.
On the other side, I have sold over 400ā¦swings and roundabouts I supposeā¦
Lovely cards Tessa and a cute doggie from you Maria
The Painted Lady is my favorite Stephie, but they are all lovely, Iām sure you will get lots of interest with them nice to do a series too ā¦
I didnāt get to paint today, been busy working and each time I think, I get waxing the phone goes, had a couple of business calls and then over an hour with MIL so that was nice ā¦
exactly Tessaā¦SFA must measure 14" or under (that can include an OSWOA)
But an OSWOA MUST be 4x6
At one time, the lady who came up with OSWOAā¦copyrighted it (her name was something like Daisyā¦Iāll remember it later) I used to belong to her OSWOA groupā¦and one of the rules was that you had to sell for a minimum of $10 (and she accepted Ā£5 in the UK as a minimum priceā¦which obviously varies according to the exchange rate). I donāt think anyone would enforce it now as she gave up the group a few years ago.
morning, love the butterflies Stephie, I was sure I posted here yesterday evening but canāt see my post now! the site is ever so slow at the moment too. I know of others where the cart disappears too Maria & Tessa, I think they are working on it at the moment, in most cases others can see your shop and cart but you canāt, itās all very odd!
I have been writing about myself, as part of a project I am working on and they wanted an interview to go along it ā¦ more info as soon as Iām allow to say !!! I am not good at writing about myself and some of it is very samey, its the story so I guess it will be the same, but I was looking at my exhibits to remind myself of a few things and I did love painting my Ladyās ā¦ so I am showing Lady Alexandra today with her yellow rose garden, she is still one of my favorites ā¦ We have two larger ones, Lady Dawn and Lady Annabel in out hallway framed and they look great
hazel, love the roses in your Lady Alexandra painting, Iāve got a very large rose bush covered in gorgeous yellow roses at the moment, your painting reminds me of that.
